NPR recently profiled Eddie Adams, coinciding with the release of a new book entitled Eddie Adams: Vietnam. Two Pulitzer Prize winners, David Halberstam and Peter Arnett, contribute to the 200-page book published by Umbrage Editions. There's also an exhibit at the Umbrage Gallery in Brooklyn until April 30, 2009.
In the piece, Hal Buell, a former AP photo editor, opines, "No war was ever photographed the way Vietnam was, and no war will ever be photographed again the way Vietnam was photographed." That much is clear through Eddie's photographs.
